 Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, is Realising on 11 August 2023

During the Indo Pak War of 1971,Tara Singh Returns to Pakistan to bring his son, Charanjeet, Back home. 

Gadar 2, is an upcoming 2023 Indian Hindi language period action drama film directed and produced by Anil Sharma, with the story written by Shaktimaan Talwar. It is a sequel to the 2001 film Gadar ; Ek Prem Katha. The film stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma and Aamir Naik in the lead roles.


In the first film, set in 1947, a Sikh truck driver, Tara Singh, falls in love with a Muslim girl, Sakeena. They get married in the midst of the bloody Partition violence, in which Sakeena's family moves to Pakistan. Then, Singh makes a dramatic visit to Pakistan and returns as a patriot.

As before, Sunny Deol was offered for the role of Tara Singh. Ameesha Patel was offered the role of Tara Singh's wife, Sakeena role. Sharma was offered for role of Charanjeet (Jeete) Singh.N

imrat Khaira was offered the role of Charanjeet Singh's love interest, Muskaan, in September 2021. Khaira rejected the offer in wake of the 2020-21 Indian Farmer's Protest . She also stated that Zee Studio and Bollywood opposed the farmers' protest, so she will not work in any film offered by Bollywood. 

After Khaira turned down the role, Simi Chahal was offered the same role, but she also rejected it due to the protests. During an interview in May 2022, Shipra Goyal said that she was offered the role of Ghadar 2,after Chahal but also declined. Wamiqa Gabbi also rejected the role of Muskaan. 

Kainat Arora is said to have flatly refused for the role of Gadar 2. Eventually, the makers brought in Simrat Kaur for the role. 

Manish Wadhwa was offered the role of a Pakistani army general in the film. Rohit Choudhary, was also cast in the role of a Pakistani army general in the film. 

Luv Sinha and Gourav Chopra have also been cast in important role.

OMG 2 (Oh My God 2) 2023

Casting And  Development The film was initially rumoured to be in making in January 2021 with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal returning as leads post the first part, but Rawal denied the reports.  I n June 2021, the sequel to  OMG  was finally confirmed with a new storyline starring Kumar.
